Dear Friends of Angel Animals,

Recently Linda has taken a break away from Minneapolis to spend some quality time in northern Minnesota for her writing projects.  She is staying in a pristine place next to a glistening lake.
 
While she was outdoors writing, an emerald green dragonfly landed on her shoulder, then on each item that was at the table.  The dragonfly looked at Linda with such intelligent eyes as if it were trying to deliver a message.  She then realized that her plans to leave the next day weren't serving her well.  She needed more time for the writing.
The dragonfly had given her a magnificent invitation from one of Nature's most ancient ambassadors.
 
Later that evening, Linda was inside, sitting on a chair near a big window.  The dragonfly returned and kept bumping its little body against the window glass as if it were trying to visit her again. Finally the dragonfly figured out that it couldn't get through, so it went away.
 
Linda got on the Internet to look up symbolism about dragonflies. Here is what she found.
 
The dragonfly has been on earth for 300 million years.  It is a miniature form of a dinosaur.  The Native American meanings for dragonfly are skill, refinement, and relentlessness.  The Nordic symbolism is transformation, adaptation, and insight.  The dragonfly also symbolizes illusions and dreams.  Dragonfly people are said to live in two realms -- air and water.  In their youth, they are emotional and passionate (water).  In maturity, later years of life, they have greater mental clarity and control (air).
